- Responsible for building and sustaining an active IM community for the UW.
- Develops and sustains processes, procedures, standards, and governance structures to effectively produce and manage change, maintain efficient operations, support decision-making, and build partnerships.
- Consults with OIM partners on defining and articulating information management needs, identifying existing IM solutions, and proposing and developing new information systems and services.
- Leads the development and oversees the workings of a collaborative framework and system of standards and methods within which the UW IS/IM community may effectively propose and develop common solutions and share resources.
- Works with OIM partners to discover and leverage local information systems and solutions and helps scale these efficiencies to the broader community.
- Builds and sustains networks among peer institutions, and discovers and shares innovative information management solutions and opportunities for partnerships and collaborations within the broader higher education community.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key UW commercial, consortial, and community partners, and works to leverage those partnerships to strengthen the IM solution space at the UW.
