US Forest Service, Urban and Community Forestry Program
This website was funded by a grant from the US Forest Service, and developed in conjunction with the national Urban and Community Forestry (UCF) Program. The UCF Program works to provide liveable communities through planning for and stewardship of the trees where people live, work, and play. This mission is accomplished through technical, financial, research, and educational services to local government, nonprofit organizations, community groups, educational institutions, and tribal governments. More information about the national program can be found at: http://www.fs.fed.us/ucf/
