Web Disk Usage Statistics Back to 1998

The following filesystems hold home pages and other files accessible via the World Wide Web.

Staff and Faculty (including Departmental and Course support) web files are stored on the /hw filesystems.

Student web files are stored on the /dw filesystems.

MyUW.net web files are stored on the /mw filesystems.

The old web pages accessible via weber.u.washington.edu are stored on the /www filesystems. This use is in the process of being migrated to the above servers.

The /quill filesystems are intended to support multi-media files such as video and audio programs as part of course materials.

The files on the /quill filesystems were moved to the /hh filesystems in November of 2002.

The /hh filesystems are intended to support multi-media files such as video and audio programs as part of course materials.

The /dv filesystems are intended to support multi-media files such as video and audio programs for students.
