- supported Linux Virtual Server setup (VRRP with keepalived) for high availablity of Healthlinks website
- staged and deployed HealthLinks J2EE codebase enhancements with CVS and Ant
- created an RPM SPEC file for mod_pubcookie to simplify single-signon (SSO) software deployment
IOCC
From May 2001 - May 2003 I was network administrator at IOCC, an
independent Internet Service Provider in Southwest Arkansas.
- wrote a small Java application (using Swing and JDBC) which allowed non-technical billing personnel to search account usage data
- used expect scripts to simplify management of Aironet equipment for wireless ISP network
- Managed routers, servers, and other equipment
Cygwin Project
From roughly 1999 to 2006 I was a Cygwin contributor and a regular on the mailing lists (Cygwin is an open source Linux-like environment for Windows).
- mkshortcut command-line utility for creating Windows shortcuts
- various small patches to add usage and automatic versioning information (via CVS) to utilities included in Cygwin
- Cygwin-Lite a minimal Cygwin installation that fit on a 1.44M floppy disk
