Allison Brooks - Vice President

Allison D. Brooks is a psychologist and research investigator in the interdisciplinary clinical diagnostic and research teams at the University of Washington Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Diagnostic and Prevention Network (FAS-DPN). She is also Clinic Director of the Tacoma Satellite of the Autism Center at the University of Washington.

Dr. Brooks became involved in volunteer work with children with special needs in 1987, and has been involved in research, training, and clinical work in the field of child neurodevelopmental disorders since 1991. In 2000, she joined the interdisciplinary clinical team at the FAS-DPN, where she also participates as a research investigator under the direction of Dr. Susan Astley. She is a certified school psychologist and a licensed psychologist in the state of Washington. She has provided multiple trainings on FASD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and behavior interventions to parents and to clinical, academic, and school professionals. Dr. Brooks is a co-facilitator of the FASt Friends teen support group.
