Teaching Goals

I am interested in investigating novel and innovative ways to present introductory material in biological anthropology, both for those continuing in the field, and for those moving on to other topics. How can we better communicate the excitement and importance of biological anthropology?

Current Teaching

For the past three years, I have had the chance to teach and be a TA for several courses in the department of anthropology at the University of Washington. Through this experience, I have gotten the chance to work with fabulous students. I wish you all the best in your futures; I know you can each do great things!

This year, I will be teaching the evening version of BIO A 201: Principles in Biological Anthropology in the spring, and ANTH 469: Communicating Anthropology in the summer. (course websites to come)

My previous teaching experience is detailed below.
