CERTIFICATE IN APPLIED ANIMAL BEHAVIOR

Satisfactory completion of the University of Washington's Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior Program is frequently noted by the use of the letters 'UW-AAB' after the name of the individual, or the use of the above copywritten logo.

This indicates that the individual has satisfied the requirements of the University of Washington's academic program: three University-level courses taught by PhD faculty with many years of experience in the field of applied animal behavior. These courses include in-depth education in modern ethology and animal behavior science; endocrinology, genetics, and neuroscience as it applies to behavior; canine, feline, and equine science; and enrichment, welfare, and training science as it applies to animals in the world around us.
