I can't take it. I'm too sensitive to it. If I take a half dose, twice a day, I can't sleep for days, my heart starts pounding in my chest, I get weird sweats, I lose my sex drive, I have no appetite, I get very aggressive/angry and shout at people for no reason, I can't concentrate or focus on whatever I'm doing, I have to be doing SOMETHING (combined with lack of focus results in just starting a whole bunch of projects randomly and not finishing anything.) These sorts of effects are supposed to wear off over time. I never gave it the chance. I know guys that can take 2-3 times the recommended dosage 2-3 times a day with no ill effects. So start slow. Watson (the ninja of nice) Davis Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2002 21:23:39 -0500 From: Chad Tower Subject: eca stack question For those of you who've tried the ECA stack, how did it feel? I've been told by everyone I know who've tried it that it feels like a heart attack in a bottle. I barely feel a thing. Other than an extreme increase in thirst I don't feel any different. I can't get enough water no matter how much I drink but I don't feel any pulse racing, no heat flashes, nothing that people described. I am taking ephedrine sulphate (25mg), caffeine (200mg ), and aspirin (325mg). Is this the right ratio? What should I expect to feel? Maybe drop it to half that, or get the 81mg enteric (?) aspirin. As far as your reaction, everyone is different, but it's supposed to increase your metabolic rate, dilate your bronchial passages, and raise your internal body temperature. Some people get jittery from the caffeine, others feel nervous due to the ephedrine, and some just feel more energized. It doesn't phase some people to take the stack three times a day, and others have had severe complications with just one dose. Be careful. It is the thermogenic activity the drugs in combination create. Many people do not bother with the A (aspirin) It is supposed to extend the effect, but there is also talk that the results are not worth the side effects from th aspirin. /sk Date: Wed, 16 Jan 2002 09:53:42 -0600 From: Steve Kuykendall Subject: Re: eca stack question Aspirin is Salicylic (sp?) acid. Many people have stomach upset from this and if you have a tendency to ulcers, this can irritate it. That is why many manufacturers coat it with something. Aspirin CAN thin the blood although unless you have a bleeding ulcer problem I would imagine it is not an issue. (If you have bleeding ulcers you need to fix that before you fool with ECA) /sk Date: Wed, 16 Jan 2002 11:18:38 -0500 From: Watson Davis Subject: Re: eca stack question On Wed, 16 Jan 2002 10:30:59 -0500, Chad Tower wrote: >I'll try dropping the aspirin entirely. Different people have different sensitivities. Personally, if I take half the EC dose you're taking and only take it once a day, I don't sleep and do LOTS of chores around the house and start getting VERY aggressive... and then my wife tells me to stop or we're getting a divorce. The Aspirin (which was too high in your dose) should just be a children's aspirin or two. The Aspirin decreases the intensity of the effect but increases the duration. All of the original studies were done WITHOUT the Aspirin. If you're taking this for thermogenesis/fat burning, then you should not cycle off of it. You should take a dose 3 times a day and you should take it every day for as long as you want. There have been several studies that have shown the thermogenesis improving over time. These studies have been over a year and haven't shown any bad side effects from chronic use. Just be careful when you stop because you might have withdrawals from the caffeine. Watson (the ninja of nice) Davis On the contrary, the "A" is necessary if you want the "full-effect." The A acts as a blood thinner (which allows more oxygen into the blood vessels. More oxygen equals more energy. So now you've got E (which actually dilates the blood vessels), C (a stimulant which extends the affect of E) and A (more oxygen into the dilated blood vessels)....Now that's a stack! Did you know that you can create your own stack instead of purchasing the expensive combinations? This way you can play around with it and find the right amounts of each ingredient that works best for you. Like you've got any more credibility at this point than the Fit4Starz person? For all we know, you ARE the Fit4Starz person. Jeez, you could be Bill Phillips and start assuring us that HMB feels like deca. This is the internet; until someone here KNOWS you, you're a fiction. Especially from AOL, Hotmail, and WebTV. There's a lot of variability in things that are called EC and ECA. I have no idea what you were taking in either instance. Hell, some people "feel" a lot more with pseudoephedrine, which doesn't even have the thermogenic capabilities that ephedrine has. Watson (the ninja of nice) Davis
