Phil and I had made some very tentative plans to see if Mt. INdex was
climbable from the Lake Serene side. Becky talks about a bergshrund
that is difficult to get around in late season and we figured we'd at least
take a look at it. Progress was amazingly slow given the new snow
covering talus on the route around the lake so we quickly abandoned any
plans to summit.
The moon is faintly visible above the Norwegian Buttresses.
Some intersting looking ice is beginning to form above Lake Serene.
Teresa really liked this picture so here it is.
This one too. Teresa's way into macros.
We got back to the car just as it was getting dark. Good thing
we didn't go for the summit - we'd still be up there.
