Southwest Chutes on Mt. Adams - 6 / 28 / 03
With a forecast for a warm sunny Saturday and a deteriorating Sunday we hunted high for corn on the long reaches of the chutes. We drove down Friday night and slept next to the road before leaving the Cold Spring parking lot at 7 am.

While some to chose climb back up to the the ridge we opted for the low traverse, eventually picking up the "Round the Mountain Trail" and getting back to the car around 6.
