Located in Washington DC Howard University has maintained a tradition of excellence over the last 128 years by producing more African Americans with advanced degrees than any other institution in the world.
Fisk University, which opened its doors as Fisk School to a student body of former slaves in 1866, is a small, predominantly African American institution with a strong liberal arts and science emphasis. The campus is located on a hill overlooking downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
As an historically black institution Morgan always has served students of all racial and ethnic backgrounds. Its mission today is to enroll a student body that is diverse in its socioeconomic and academic characteristics and to provide the full-range of experiences and services that permits it to successfully serve students with a wide variety of goals and needs.Located in a residential area of northeast Baltimore. It is one of the leading institutions nationally in the number of applications received from African-American high school graduates.
Founded in 1867 in Augusta, GA, Morehouse College is a historically black liberal arts institution of higher education. This all-male institution offers a variety of subjects of study, athletic programs, and a rich tradition that provides Morehouse with its very own "mystique."
