Research Interests:

My overall research interests involve the design and development of peptide and protein-based therapeutics and diagnostics. My current research involves the design of small, stable hairpin peptides with the aim to inhibit fibril formation in multiple amyloid systems. Our approach is to target the soluble-oligomeric species, a species specific to the aggregation of multiple amyloid peptides and proteins.
