Associate professor, General Physics Department, Nizhny Novgorod State University (May, 1997 - June, 2000).

Classes taught: general physics subjects (mechanics, thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, oscillations and waves theory, electromagnetism, optics) and methods of data processing (time-series analysis / filtering; discrete Fourier transformation; wavelet transformation; data compression; linear and non-linear algorithms of image restoration).

Research interests: wave propagation through inhomogeneous media, restoration of optical wave fronts degraded by turbulence, digital image and signal processing.
