The simplest way to get started is... Start out by typing: # make Everything should compile cleanly. Test the stuff with a quick run; try 10M of a raw filesystem or something: # ./unrm /dev/raw-device | dd count=10000 bs=1024 > output-file Then try: # ./lazarus -h output-file This will create two directories - "www" (containing all the HTML code) and "blocks" (containing the data blocks processed.) Run a browser on "output-file.frames.html" Click on some stuff. Does it work? You can also examine the individual blocks manually by checking out the blocks subdirectory. If it looks good, continue on the full device: # ./unrm /dev/raw-device > output-file-not-on-the-same-filesystem Wait some minutes, up to an hour or more, depending on the size of the target. # ./lazarus -h output-file-not-on-the-same-filesystem Wait for a longer time, some hours probably, if you've run it on a lot of data. The final output can be read via browser at: output-file-not-on-the-same-filesystem.frames.html (Notice the "frames.html", not simply ".html"!)
