I'm currently a Senior Computer Specialist with the Department of Surgery, University of Washington School of Medicine, and based at Harborview Medical Center. My work involves keeping the region's top trauma and plastic surgeon's Macintoshes in tip top shape (as well as their PC's...)
Additionally, I'm an MLIS student at the UW's Information School. My electives focus on leadership, information assurance, and cybersecurity. My extracurricular activities include serving as the current Vice President of ALISS--the LIS student government body--and as the webmaster for iServe, the Information School's volunteer and service organization.
I've been working in IT & Educational Technology for about 10 years, previously at Archibishop Mitty High School in San Jose, CA; San Francisco State University; and UC Santa Cruz Extension.
