I am an instructor of English at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. My research focuses on representations of labor, specifically migrant agricultural laborers, in fiction and photography. I am currently writing on the recycling of depression-era documentary art in the era of neoliberalism. I teach courses in American literature, literature and photography, literature of the U.S. border, and interdisciplinary writing.
