Numbers and such

  • The house is 2590 sf. 400 sf of that is in the unfinished basement. There is also a small attic.
  • It was listed as a 6 bedroom, 2.75 bath. It's really 5 bedrooms, as one room has no closet.
  • The lot size is 11,000 sf. (55' x 200')
  • The rooms are very large in general. In our house search we saw some places with bedrooms smaller than our bathrooms.
  • The house does have a 1 car detached garage, but it's worthless and unsafe and needs to be torn down. We may rebuild one closer to the house (eventually).

    Some interesting things about this house: It's undergone at least three different expansions/additions. It appears that the old front door faced the street and was where the middle room in the West wall/end of house is now.
