I manage the Research group for UW Information Technology at the University of Washington in Seattle. My research helps the university identify the technology and support needs of faculty, researchers, students, and staff.

I received my PhD in English and Textual Studies in 2003 from the University of Washington. During my graduate studies I served as the Assistant Director of Computer-Integrated Courses for the Department of English, training faculty members and graduate students on how to teach with technology.

When I am not working, I enjoy cooking with herbs and vegetables from my garden, learning about and growing native plants, and spending a day lost in a good book. I am also an avid traveler. The photos on this site provide glimpses of some of the places I have visited.
