Our Mission
The Elisabeth C. Miller Horticulture Library serves the gardening public
of Puget Sound and the faculty, staff, and students of the
Center for
Urban Horticulture
with library collections, reference services, tours,
and handouts. While not part of the University of Washington Libraries
system, its services are free and open to the general public,
thanks to the support of private donors, grants, and the University. It
supports the mission of the Center for Urban
Horticulture, providing research, education, and public service
concerning the selection, management, and role of plants and ecosystems
in urban landscapes.
