You are correct about the conflicting DLLs. To correct this, follow these
steps:
- Look for WINCOM.DLL and WRKBENCH.DLL in your Windows System directory.
- Rename the files to temporary names (WINCOM.TMP WRKBENCH.TMP) and make
sure that additional copies are not located in any directories on your PATH.
- Restart Windows and launch the Asymetrix versions of BitEdit and PalEdit.
They should now launch correctly.
- Restore the names of the 2 DLLs.
