I am a doctoral candidate in political science
at the
University of Washington and a graduate fellow in the
Center for American Politics and Public Policy. My primary
research interests are economic policymaking, public policy
processes, American political institutions, and
methodology. I have also worked on the development of an online data
gathering tool for the Congressional Bills Project. My
dissertation project is entitled ``A Day Late and A Dollar
Short: The Policies Recession Politics Makes'' and examines
policymaking to alleviate economic downturns in the United
States from 1958-2011.
