1948 Passenger Window Sticker

This sticker was of paper construction rather than decal. It was used with the 1947 plate for 1948 registration. This sticker is actually a "SAMPLE" sticker that was available from the DOL upon request. For many years the dept. of licensing has made available sample licence plates and stickers. They are often identified with the "SAMPLE" designation or by numbers and letters ie: "XYZ-123", "123-ABC", and "000-000" etc. These samples can not be used as regular plates.
