Was my ballet teacher during my mid– to late-teens and an inspiration, giving clear, logical classes. A teacher’s teacher.

 

Here she is in the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo’s production of “Swan Lake.”

 

Sadly, Gwenn passed on 22 March 2009, just a couple of weeks after I had last spoken with her. She had just recently turned 80.
