Spring 2009
I'm taking an 8-week class from Molly
Hashimoto on Watercolor Landscapes: Water, where we will be learning
to paint lakes, rivers, reflections, ocean waves, surf etc.

Molly handed out random photos the first week; this is a beach in Oregon.

This week we practiced reflections, both realistic and more abstract.
This is somewhere inbetween, using a photo of a pond with reeds.

More reflections, from a photo taken at the zoo of a Redhead (relative of
the Canvasback.)

A Sanderling at the Alki beach in West Seattle.

We practiced headlands in class. The water is the wrong color, too blue
or too tropical...not sure. Will try to fix it at some point.

The last week was spent on waterfalls. I like the rocks in this one.
Class is over!
